Stepping Stone Community Services Society, together with its sister society, West Fraser Housing Society, offers a range of affordable housing opportunities for individuals who are living with mental health issues and families in the low to moderate-income bracket.
Arbour Creek Estates
(Owned and operated by: West Fraser Housing Society)
This 33 unit townhouse complex provides 17 units for adults who are living with a mental illness and 16 two, three and four-bedroom units designated for low to moderate-income families. Individuals may or may not require supports from community living support workers. Applications for family housing are available through BC Housing.
The 4-plex opened in March 2007 and is a partnership between Stepping Stone Community Services Society, BC Housing and Fraser Health. The 4-plex provides affordable housing for 9 people living with a mental illness. Tenants of the 4-plex receive regular support from a Community Support Worker.
Rent Subsidy Program (BC Housing)
Stepping Stone manages rent subsidies in the Langleys provided through BC Housing. This service is designed for individuals who are in need of a rent subsidy but do not necessarily need community living support services.
