Stepping Stone Community Services Society is a BC registered non-profit organization and a federal registered charity. We are committed to improving the quality of life for people living in Langley who may face numerous challenges including mental illness, homelessness, risk of homelessness and poverty.
We began offering services in 1984 primarily for adults living with mental illness. We offer a range of psychosocial rehabilitation programs that include a Clubhouse Program, Therapeutic Volunteer Program, Supported Independent Living Program, Community Living Support, Employment Program and a range of housing services. These programs are client-centered and focus on supporting individuals in their recovery journey.
In 2006 our services expanded to include a Homeless Outreach Program, which provides services for people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The primary goal of the program is to provide supports such as connecting people with resources and helping people locate housing.
The organization serves over 1000 people in all the programs. With strong leadership from our Board of Directors and a dedicated and committed staff team, Stepping Stone strives to continuously improve and enhance services in Langley.
